This exclusive bundle brings together the first cases of two of my most popular detectives — DI Stephanie Broadbent and DS Tomek Bowen.

If you enjoy dark, gritty crime thrillers set in the UK, with complex characters and twist-filled investigations, this is the perfect place to begin.

For this one, you’ll get:

  • The Voodoo Killer – a chilling murder mystery set in Surrey
  • Death’s Justice – a gripping Essex-based thriller with a moral edge

Two series. Two very different detectives. One obsession: catching killers.

The Voodoo Killer Description:

She returned home to start again. Instead, she woke the darkness she thought she'd buried.

DI Stephanie Broadbent hasn’t been back to her hometown in over twenty years. A fractured childhood and a past best forgotten kept her away. But the sudden loss of a colleague leaves her burned out and broken—and the quiet promise of the Surrey Hills, along with a chance to reconnect with her sister, proves too hard to resist.

Peace, however, is short-lived.

Before she’s even settled in, a university student is found dead in her halls of residence after a night out. What first appears to be an open and shut case takes a darker turn when a voodoo doll is found near the body.

With old memories resurfacing and members of her new team keeping her at arm’s length, Stephanie is forced to confront the ghosts of her past—while racing to stop a killer whose next move is already taking shape in thread and cloth.

Death's Justice Description:

Some secrets never wash away…

Along the flat Essex coastline, deep in the heart of Southend-on-Sea, the body of a man is discovered in an allotment, half-naked and heavily mutilated.

The investigation quickly falls to DS Tomek Bowen of Essex Police who, thirty years before, found his dead brother in a similar location and manner one evening after school. His brother’s death had been random, a vicious and evil act that saw his killer face life imprisonment. But when the identity of the man in the allotment is uncovered, it becomes clear this was no random act. The victim had a sinister past that earned him many enemies. Enemies that have come to mete out their own form of justice.

But when a second victim appears, DS Bowen realises he’s on the trail of a vigilante killer who’s appointed themselves judge, jury and executioner. As Tomek begins to peel back the dark and rotten layers of the victims’ lives, more and more secrets are revealed, along with a shocking revelation that will force Tomek to question everything he’s ever known about his brother’s death.

Can he catch the killer before they strike again?
